Parsley is a leafy herb plant which originated from the Mediterranean area of South Italy, Algeria and Tunisia. It belongs to the Apiaceae plant family. It has been planted for over two thousand years domestically. Initially it was used as a medicinal plant but later became and ingredient for food.

I have been using this herb once I came to know of its wonderful cures on a regular bases if not on a daily bases. It has help to control my blood sugar level. Help me with my indigestion problem as far as I believe to relieve my colon of frequent running to toilet.
I make a chuttney of this herb. This is the way I make it. I put some salt on a grinding stone, add some of the hottest chillies on earth. Grind the chillies with salt to paste and add a two three pods of garlic and grind to paste. Finally add the parsley leaves stem and root and grind with the other paste to a green fresh paste. Grind should be done slowly on a grinding stone rather than in a grinder. This helps to retain the maximum of the herbs nutrients and value
This I eat with all my meals both as a medicine as well as a sauce with my food.
