A Tale of Two Thoughts

Man manifests himself in many ways and out of them is his thoughts by which dictates his behaviour. The collection of this leads how society begins to thinks as a whole. How things are ought to be done, in which way one ought to eat and dress, and furthermore his morality towards his social order. This brings out the cultural aspect of he is to function towards others in his sphere and he towards them.

Else may be taken as alien, and the person who brings about it may seem out of place in what he is doing or saying though it might be the correct way in which he see and believes things ought to happen. In ways it may be correct to a greater social order, but this does not make him correct in the present sphere or the circle in which he is. This brings about a tale of two thoughts – which one of them are correct.

Taking advantage of this one can come to consider the difference between good and bad, correct and incorrect. How are we to define which of them is in which place, for something can be good in one place and yet bad in another. Taking having a second spouse for example, some accept it as a fact and in another social order, it will be considered a bad practise and laws might be put in place to make it illegal and a person imprisoned.

When it comes to such as situations as the tale of two thought and we are encountered by it, how do we go about the business of considering which one to accept and vice versa? The simple explanation is to accept the ratiocination of the mind as which one is the better option. For what might be right in a place may have long terms implication. Take for example smoking which has been proved to be detrimental for health, but in that particular social order, it is a good practice to smoke.

Your ratiocination might tell you that it would give you comfort at that particular time from the elements and bring you in good league within the social circle, but it will also tell you that as time goes by it infringes on the inner working of the body which can lead to implications of health. What to do then? Short time gain or long term gain. Simple logic will tell you that we not only live for the present but also for the the further, both of them have their importance to us.

This creates a dilemma for us – judgmental dilemma for us. What is the best option now to choose between the tale of two thoughts? There is no options to it, we should take what our passions consider to be best for us as the present is what we in at a particular moment and it is the moment which makes the future. For it is the junction in which we are at a particular time gives us two or more roads them. We have to take one of them to lead us to some destination in the future.

A tale of two two thoughts is not always easy and it is left up to us to take which side we fell will be beneficial to us. For we are the only person with the power to make that decision but all I can say is that it should in our good thought.

Gone With The Wind

A World Never To Return

Gone with the wind are the days I once knew. Everything is different now. Much different from the times that I once and see and known. It was much simpler to live back then. I bet that my father might have also had the same thoughts that I am having at this moment while writing this post. Nostalgic, Yes, for things in life and the way we are living it gets more and more complicated with passing years. It was simpler back then.

We did not have as much as we now have. Our earnings have increased and so has the complication of earning it has too. We spend what we earn just to get something that we believe that we need, but what we get with even paying more than what we once paid, is not of the same quality nor quantity.

We buy from glamour and glitter as it seems we are buying them and in the bargain we are cock sure that we have done ourselves the favour of buying something good. The fact is that we bought even better from the shop in the corner, back in the past from none of the glamour and glitter and it was sure then what we truly intended to buy.

Our children are born into this age where they know nothing of except the mobile and computing devices. They can’t even imagine that there existed a world sans it. Yet, for us getting to a telephone to communicate to some distance ear was an adventure which we enjoyed. My father before me had to actually travel to the ear over distances which sometimes which was adventurous, which took with joy and his strides.

Those were true communications. The simple faded printed photographs long lost in the physical long lost in some corner of the home gathering dust is also a faded memory. It is all refined photographs to enhance the personality but not the true self.

As I say those days that I once knew have gone with the wind never to return to my present and yours too. The joy of us living together which is no longer the same as each of us has to part for reason that we do not want to but for reasons that this economic age compels us to. If we do not listen to the dictates of the present then we are not compatible with it.

Our cities are not longer the cities that we once knew. Our villages and towns are also no longer the same for our cities have become over populated and the folks in the villages have come thinner and thinner. In the interest for better lifestyles and comforts of the glamorous urban settlements and faster lifestyles have become the magnet to cause this disproportion where in search for happiness which got temporarily some disappears to bring the true reality of misery, stress and sickness.

Gone with the wind when it was totally the opposite story. Where being mischievous was not as being evil. Now evil and bad is not taken as important and the virtue of mankind all depends on how much of wealth he has, though, hardly anyone feels that it is important whether he has made it from the sweat of his brows.

Seeing the way things are going I bet my children will have the same feeling when they are of my age that the days they once knew has gone with the wind never to come back, just as I feel now.

Why Did Stephen Paddock Massacre

Reading the Mind of a Psychopath

Getting into the mind as to why did Stephen Paddock Massacre people from the floor of the 32 storey Mandaly Bay Hotel is basically a complex question by itself. The decisions that people make which leads to their action has a starting point somewhere. With much of what he did has left even the best of investigators in the dark, all we can do is to fathom.

There is hardly much of what we know of this psychopath – that is what he can be referred to after knowing that man of such character kind unfold such terror and misery on innocent people on the mass scale for which in no probable way they are not culpable.

What do we know of Steven Paddock that has trickled out to us from the news media. One he is associated with a women of interest, who by herself is not associated with the crime. He was a passionate gambler. He was an accountant. From his action he was wicked and evil (This comes to us now only after his action, my link to my post will explain further).

As he has planned in such precision, that it is obvious that his intended aim was to inflict mass causalities of death and injuries which unfortunately he managed to succeed. For a person to have such tendency, it has to originate in the mind and heart and this comes about when one is inflicted with something when he feels that injustice is done on him from the actions of others which he has not control over. The only means is to take his revenge even if his own life goes. The though of it gives him satisfaction and he gloats over it.

Since he has done it on mass scale to people he does not know of and not in anyway to his immediate family, it only tells us one think, that he believes, that harm was done to him in someway by the general public.

You got to remember that he was a gambler. Gambling is an addition where you never win, by so caught up with the idea of becoming wealthy beyond means of avarice. But as we all know a gambler never wins. He might be lucky to win from time to time, but more goes out in the long run of the habit.

If we check his financial records, 99.9 percent of the chances would lead to showing us of his diminishing wealth he made in his investments as an accountant. It hurts mind you to realise that at one junction in your life, you had this much and now it is much, much less than before.

Who do you blame? Not yourself mind you – you blame in on the system who allows you to take you money. Legal gambling dens like casinos make a lot of money and since they are legal gambling centres, pay heavy taxes. In turn, Stephen believed that the public robbed him of his money.

How better way to take revenge for the deeds inflicted upon him, do a deed that kills on a mass scale for the general public is now eating his money and the people like casinos that allowed it to happen. His actions would allow the slowing down of business and pinch gambling dens like casinos and Las Vegas as a matter of fact. People would find them less secure now. His life does not matter not for he has lost everything with his habit. But he must have felt that he must take revenge for the injustice done on him.
