Justifying Sharia Law

Why is it so?

Sharia law is a islamic law which governs most of the islamic world and its believers and is practices by most devotes Muslims. Though it might not have any direct mentioning of it in the Islamic holy book the Korean but it is inextricably derived from the holy scriptures of the book. It is way in which society is to be governed so as that he does not break from his religious ones and causes harm in the proper functioning of society.

Most of what is done according to the Sharia law if seen a rational way actually seems to make proper sense. Since it conflicts with the ways in which other religious function it might seem to be primitive and barbaric. But, contrary to that it is in all forms a proper just way, only that it is used by some to make political use of it to gain mileage in their hidden agenda.

The wise men of the time in that part of the world with their deep rooted thoughts linked it with the holy scriptures making it as if the wishes of god would want the world to follow in good reason so that the just would not have to suffer from the malicious evil of a few.

I will take the issue of women. Women in the Islamic world are supposed to be covered from head to foot in what is now known as the Burka and if she is married, her husband can take another six wives. She is not allowed of the house but with a male family companion. Have you asked yourself why? For good reasons.

Humans are nothing else but animals with a extra large brain that gives him the power of logic, rationality and ratiocination, but his animal instincts have not left him. There is no such thing in the animal world such as human civility.

An example would be better put by dogs. An attractive bitch that might not be sexually appealing to a human obviously because it is not of the same species, is sexually appealing to the dogs. A fight occurs so as for the better one to get what he wants. Once it has had its share of sexual fun, the ones in the lower order of superiority will follow suit.

Sexual depravity causes things such as rape. When a human is deprived of sex or he has over sexual wants, he is attracted to the most beautiful flowers. Just like all classes of mammals, humans are are no different. Humans might term it as wicked, but sadly this is the trick nature has played for all species on planet earth to play so for the survival of their species.

Keeping a woman covered helps actually protect her from sexual exploitation as when most of the body is covered she is not the attractive flowers that she might have been. It protects her, it protects the male who might have got evil thoughts and allows safe behaviour in society.

Why then seven wives for her husband? One thing less understood by the modern social man is that more females are born averagely than males till now, where males are sought after and social evils such as ultrasounds are used to determine the gender of the baby so that it could be eliminated before birth.

Furthermore women are sexually active for certain periods of times, which deprives the male of sexual gratifications. So having a number of wives would allow him so. It also eliminates the problems of excessive female births in society and the social evil of rape. For a man with seven mouths to feed would have to work harder giving him no time for extra folly.

In truth, most of the evil which we find in society is the way females dress, they make themselves so sexually attractive by the designer clothes they wear, that it leads to lust in the eyes of the opposite sex. She might not be the victim, but his growth in sexual lust in most cases lead him to another.

Let’s look at another aspect of the Sharia law. Justice delayed is justice denied. That is the case with most crimes in society. By the time that punishment is meted out, it no longer has its tended value for the victim. Furthermore the punishments given do not dither the crime from not happening again.

You rob a person with your hands, which not only takes away his hard earned wealth, but causes him distress and other pains. It might be the money that he has to feed his sick family at home. One thing leads to another. The thief might be caught and be given a punishment of jail time. He becomes an additional burden for the state. He has to be fed and kept which is additional resources.

Furthermore, it has done nothing to deter theft and other crimes in society. But with the example made from your hands being chopped off, that person is sure not to commit that crime again and it is a warning to others as well. This is your fate as well and it spares the state the expenses which could be used for the welfare of society.

However cruel the Sharia law might seem, there is justifiable sense to its madness that might seem to us all. With what is going one with us in our societies in what we call our civilized world, it is time to think deeply but not biasly call something we hardly know much of as being bad. It is actually a necessity.

Please, do not think that I endorse Sharia law, but as a free thinks and a person behind the rationality of what is why, I am trying to give you a picture of what it is. And, I believe that is the right way by which society should function with all the evil around. In fact I am an atheist and believe in the principles of Buddhism.
